Answer Your Cat’s Questions Day

Did you know that there’s a special kitty holiday coming up? January 22nd is Answer Your Cat’s Questions Day! Our feline friends are very curious, so they may likely be full of questions. Here, a Bee Cave, TX vet lists some of Fluffy’s most pressing queries.

Why Can’t I Go Out?

Although Fluffy enjoys doing things like leaving paw art on your car and making you let her in and out continuously, she’s really much safer staying indoors. As soon as your kitty goes outside, she’s exposed to dangers from cars, predators, weather, and other hazards.

Where Did My Toys Go?

Have you ever moved your sofa and found a small mountain of cat toys beneath it? No wonder Fluffy can’t find her catnip mouse!

Why Can’t I Sleep There?

As you’ve probably noticed, cats are very tired, and are always on the lookout for new napping spots. They sometimes manage to fall asleep in places that aren’t very convenient for us, such as on top of our laptops or in baskets of clean laundry.

Why Are You Laughing At Me?

Kitties are highly entertaining, which is one of the things we like most about them. Fluffy’s cute meows, adorable quirks, and playful antics will never stop being funny!

Why Don’t You Like My Present?

Fluffy’s hunting skills were highly valued in the past, but she apparently never got the memo that her services aren’t always needed these days. Although those in rural areas may appreciate their kitties keeping mice and other rodents away, many people are less than thrilled with their pets’ gifts. (This is one reason we recommend keeping housecats indoors.)

Why Can’t I Play With That?

Our feline friends are predators by nature, so they love to pounce on things. Unfortunately, Fluffy doesn’t always know what is and isn’t safe for her to play with. At some point next year, you may very well find yourself taking an unsafe ‘toy’ away from your frisky pet.

Why Are You Still Sleeping? Can’t You See I’m Starving?

Fido may be the begging champion among our animal companions, but Fluffy is no slouch here either. Kitties can get quite theatrical if you’re late with their breakfast. Or their second breakfast. Or their third breakfast.
